Are you ready to be part of something special?
Great Big Green Week is back, and it's set to be the UK's largest celebration of community action against climate change and for nature preservation.
From June 8th to 16th, communities nationwide will unite to show unwavering support for environmental action, and we are encouraging our residents to get involved.
This year's theme focuses on swaps – from clothes and book exchanges to skill shares in allotments and upcycling workshops. Whether you're a teacher, bus driver, artist, or community group member, there's a place for you to get involved.
Local Green Weeks, at the core of Great Big Green Week, serve as community hubs to showcase local activities and emphasize the importance of addressing climate change at a grassroots level. By participating in these events, we not only raise awareness but also send a clear message to decision-makers: we deeply care about the planet.
To find out more about how you can get involved or even host your own event, head to the Great Big Green Week website.
Let's unite during Great Big Green Week to make a difference that resonates far beyond our communities. Together, let's swap for good.
