1. Fire safety instructions
As part of the Fire Safety (England) Regulations 2022, we recently sent you instructions on what to do in the event of a fire. This explains your building’s evacuation strategy and the steps you should take if you identify a fire in your home, or in and around your building.
We encourage you to share this information with any visitors to your home.
2. New S156 Fire Safety Regulations – additional fire safety information
In addition to the fire safety instructions, we want to ensure you are informed of the fire safety risks that have been identified in your building.
We’re required by the new regulations to supply the following information to you:
• Any risks to residents identified by the fire risk assessment and,
• The fire safety measures within the building, such as the fire equipment used to control the spread of fire and what you should do in the event of a fire.
If you’re unable to locate your fire safety instructions or require a copy of the S156 information for your building, please email contactus@southernhousing.org.uk with the email subject line: Fire Safety Information [your building address and postcode].
Please let us know if you need the information in a large print, braille, a different language or in another format.
