A revamped mural has been unveiled at Farley Bank in East Sussex, thanks to the hard work of a team of volunteers.

Through wind and rain, every week they’ve met to provide classes for the children who live in the area. Supported by W.ave and local artist, Luke Brabants, they’ve been able to put their own stamp on the space and the result is an artistic triumph that certainly makes a splash, brightening up a previously run down part of the estate.

We’d like to say a huge thank you to everyone in involved, Brewers, Ground Works, Greener Futures, John Whittington from Hastings Borough Council, PCC Safer communities and everyone else who helped.
Repainting the mural was part of a wider project to make improvements, following feedback from residents that the estate needed some TLC.

We’re also working closely with residents to resolve issues with fly tipping and mopeds speeding through.

Our Resident Involvement Team continues to work with Hastings Borough Council, East Sussex County Council and the Police, to tackle these issues as part of an ongoing programme, holding regular consultation and feedback events.
