We're pleased to be supporting the latest trial of rent flexibility for our residents. If you've received an email or text from us inviting you to the trial, and you'd like to join, please go to the FlexMyRent website to register and start creating your rent payment plan.

Jane's summer had been difficult. She had run out of money during the school holidays with her five-year-old daughter, and so when rent-flex was offered to her she could see how it might help.
As a single parent with a part-time job there was no spare money when things got tight.
Flexing her rent meant she could have access to additional money in August to buy new school uniforms and P.E. kit. Jane also chose to flex in December to cover the extra gas bill and new clothes for her daughter.

Jackie had taken another payday loan. She knew that using credit to pay for bills and rent was not a long-term solution. She needed to tackle this spiralling problem and the support she received in helping to set up her personal rent payment plan helped a lot.
When she created her plan on the FlexMyRent platform Jackie also answered their questionnaire, which identified she had some debt problems. She was offered an appointment with Optivo’s Financial Inclusion team and we made sure she was getting all the benefits she was entitled to, and also got her a grant to pay off a debt with her water company. That support put her in a good position to start flexing her rent.
Her rent payment plan meant she was able to pay off her payday loan early, and her money situation was back under control.
