How does it work?
Every page of our website provides access to an online tool called 'ReachDeck'.
Visitors to our website can open the ReachDeck toolbar by selecting the orange icon found on the bottom right of the screen.
Once you've done this a toolbar will then open up at the top of the web page (if using a desktop computer or laptop) or at the bottom of your web browser if using a mobile phone.
The toolbar allows you to:
- Make text bigger or smaller
- Read the wording on the web page out loud
- Translate the wording into over 99 languages
- Download an audio copy of the web page (so you can listen back at a time convenient to you)
- Use the picture dictionary to help understand what words and phrases mean
- Change the website colours (text and backgrounds)
- Remove distracting content.
