Here are some more tips to help prevent accidents:
- Supervise children to keep play away from windows or patio doors
- Don’t place sofas or chairs next to windows that open
- Don’t leave children alone on balconies
- Keep balcony doors locked when not in use
- Don’t have furniture or other climbable objects on balconies.

Remember to report to us immediately if window restrictors or balcony door catches are not working or are missing.

BBQ fire safety warning
You may be considering having a barbecue (BBQ) in the warmer weather.
Keep your family and neighbours safe and never use a BBQ indoors or on a balcony.
It’s a breach of tenancy and we will take strong action against anyone doing this.
