As part of the work we’re doing, we've launched a new resident facing email address. This means that as from Thursday 16 January 2025 you may start receiving emails from us sent from this email address: hello@southernhousing.org.uk.
Please rest assured that emails sent from this email address are legitimate and sent by one of our customer service team.
You may also still receive emails from contactus@southernhousing.org.uk and service.centre@southernhousing.org.uk. The use of these two email addresses will be phased out over time and we will eventually use only hello@southernhousing.org.uk.
Messages sent to our old address will be forwarded on instantly, so please don't send your emails to both new and old addresses!
It is sometimes the case that emails sent out from new email addresses may get routed into your spam or junk folders. That’s why we recommend marking emails sent from hello@southernhousing.org.uk as safe, to help ensure you don't miss out on any email updates from us in the future.
In addition to our new email address, we may also send you text messages from this phone number: 07533 680865. These text messages are also legitimate and sent out from our repairs team to arrange a video call with you.
Please note, this phone number cannot receive inbound text messages or phone calls, so please contact us via our other recognised communication channels if you need our support. Our contact details can be found here.
Southern Housing residents will also receive text messages from us from the alias ‘SHousing’. You can manage your preferences for non-essential communications and choose what topics we contact you about from here.

At Southern Housing, all colleagues and contractors carry ID - always ask to see this ID before you let anyone into your home. And if you’re ever in any doubt, please call us first and we'll be able to check for you.
