Our development, Dockley Apartments in Bermondsey, won Housing Project of the Year at the Building Magazine Building Awards on Tuesday 7 November.
The development completed last year and is home to 111 mixed tenure one, two and three bed apartments. That includes 20 homes available for social rent (11 of which are fully adapted wheelchair units) and 22 shared ownership apartments.
Homes are arranged in a tiered design across eight floors, they wrap around a central courtyard and play area, with commercial, restaurant and retail spaces on the ground floor. Every apartment has a terrace, many of which offer far reaching views across the city. The development is just a half an hour walk from the city, offering the very best of London living.
Situated on a historic former industrial site, it’s an impressive development with an incredibly unique design. The apartments were built to the highest environmental standards with a sustainable modern design.
Dockley Apartments form part of a wider project, aiming to regenerate the local area.
