It was a birthday to remember for Liverpool fan and 22 Argyll Street resident, Adam, as he celebrated his 60th with a family get together.
Celebrating another trip around the sun, Adam was undeterred by the windy weather and bumpy hovercraft journey, as staff accompanied him on a trip to the mainland. He enjoyed Sunday lunch at Gunwharf Quays in Portsmouth, surrounded by his family.
Adam was moved to receive some wonderful gifts, including a Ferrari Formula One hat, a Liverpool Football Club shirt with ‘Adam 60’ on the back and tickets to see Take That and Olly Murs perform. The thoughtful gift brought tears to both his eyes, and of those around him.
A slice of tasty Liverpool themed cake with a cuppa was quite literally, the icing on the cake of a very special day for Adam.
And the fun didn’t end there, as the celebrations continued into the next day with Adam’s friends and staff at the care home.
22 Argyll Street is a care home for people with learning disabilities, in Ryde, on the Isle of Wight.
